Start by right-clicking on the Vigilant icon on the desktop. Choose "Properties" and then choose the "Screen" tab. Make sure to start you have it "Window" selected under the "Usage" option.
Now, choose the "Program" tab and ensure that under the "Run" selection box that "Normal Window" is selected. Click apply and close the window.
Double click on the Vigilant icon to run Vigilant. By default, with the settings specified, it will only open in about 1/3 of the total screen size. Left-click on the small black C:\ icon on the top of the Vigilant screen and choose "Properties."
Go to the "Layout" tab and change the "Screen Buffer" and "Window" sizes to these values: Width = 50 and Height = 25. Click "OK" and a window will appear asking if you would like to save the settings. Choose "Save properties for future windows with same title" and click "OK."
Finally, right-click on the Vigilant icon on the desktop and choose "Properties." Choose the "Program" tab and change the "Run" selection to "Maximized." Then, select the"Screen" tab and make sure "Full-screen" is selected under the "Usage" option. Click apply and close the window.
